To begin with, let me offer you my apologies. Although I did know keeping up with both a personal blog and a photography blog would take time, life has made some pretty major demands of me this week and therefore this blog has suffered. To be absolutely honest, despite Athena always being with me always, I have scarcely found the time to allow her to stretch her legs. Poor girl, she’s been cooped up in her bag all this time. It’s a shame, really, though an unfortunate necessity at times. I don’t make a living on photography and so work and responsibilities must take priority.
Lucky for her and for myself there is a new project I believe I may finally be able to begin. However, I’m keeping the details of it under wraps for the moment. It is the sort of project that will involve my placing myself in a less than desirable environment and hoping the moments I’m envision taking place during those times. Perhaps I may be aiming a bit high on this one, however there’s no way to know unless you try. How it will turn out remains to be seen, though I’m incredibly excited to begin. It will most certainly enrich my experience despite the outcome.
As for this entry, I wanted to bring to you a couple of minor edits that I’ve been working on. They are a couple of more shots I’ve snapped while walking around downtown. Sometimes, I’m just in awe of how pretty this old city can be. It’s also humbling to look up and see just how small we really are.
