This past Friday I was able to escape my job earlier than the usual 5:30 grind. That gave me the opportunity to take a slight detour of sorts and rather than jump on the highway, I took the regular road instead. After all, good things come when you do not take the roads of convenience.
I work by the airport. Actually, I work pretty much right next to it and can see it from our windows at the office. It makes for a good view sometimes. Let’s just say I don’t mind when I have to tour the property. I know you’ve seen my photos of airport terminal explorations in previous posts. I like the airport and of course watching I enjoy watching the airplanes take off. When you are born and raised in Miami, going to the airport and parking off of perimeter road to watch them take flight was at times a nice past time. On this day, I wanted to venture more along the perimeter road area deciding to focus on tracks. It was a quick little stop. Nothing fancy just a few captures of what I saw. Some times you shoot for yourself and no one else. Plus, Perimeter Road has it’s memories, that’s for sure.
While I suppose you could call this a photographer’s version of a drive-by shooting, my snaps were quick and painless. I just love my Beast. He’s such a good boy. His weight in my hand is absolute perfection. I can’t even begin to express how thankful I am to have him with me. Quite literally a dream come true. Though I will say, it helps when you work for what you want and receive rewards in kind. I am certainly not complaining in the least.
I uploaded the same selection of shots both to my Facebook page and here in this entry. Whichever your preference is feel free to click through browsing.
Thank you all, for your love and continuous support. I appreciate you all.
Until next time,
The Queen
