I’ll fill you guys in on a little secret. I’ve been wanting to check out some (hed) p.e. for quite some time now. Years to be exact. Yet somehow or another something has always gotten in the way. Not this past Friday though. I especially was not going to miss them performing alongside DOPE at the Kelsey Theater. There was just no way.
So I bought my tickets and made sure bringing the Beast in to the venue was not going to be a problem. After all, I wanted to make sure I took advantage of every opportunity possible. That is exactly what I did. Not only do I love the Kelsey Theater, I had an absolute blast. I would love to say that I had an specific approach shooting Friday night but I didn’t. I truthfully just got lost behind the lens and let my shutter presses come as they may. To be honest, I like it that way. Not thinking, just feeling.
Plus, (hed) PE made it so easy. They were great on that stage. The fun they were having was hard to ignore. Before I knew it their set was done and I was left wanting more. Isn’t that always the case, though? I have to say, I’m certainly am looking forward to the next time I get to watch them live. You know I’ll be brining Beast with me, too. I just can’t help myself. I love what I do.
