Without a Sound, The Main Squeeze

Before the lockdown, before the stages went silent. I was in attendance with one of my favorite people to work with while they toured through South Florida. Who are they? The Main Squeeze.

With live music only recently beginning to come back, I had been taking the opportunity to take care of some organization as well as taking on a few personal projects. It’s been over a year now and in my flow, I have come to realize that I never did post this particular set. The Main Squeeze performing live and direct at Revolution Live just a month shy of the Corona Virus shutdown. In fact, they were the Beast and I’s  Valentine’s Day date.

I really love the energy these guys bring. Thankfully I get so lost behind the lens that I’m able to focus on capturing the performance without dancing too much until after the work is done. Then, of course, it is on to dancing and with the Squeeze, it is always a party. It has been some crazy times and with all that has gone on in the last year or so, and I am thankful that it is returning.

I will say it again and again, never in my life would I have been able to guess or imagine all the firsts that I would encounter such as I have in such a short period of time but I adapted and so did the artists. I loved how they would stream performances or collaborate with each other via video conferencing. I was thankful to still have music despite the limitations that it had been placed under. Still, I missed this. Being in the crowd, seeing the fans dance, sing, enjoying life. There is no comparison to attending live music. None whatsoever.

No more digressing, let me bring to you my top 10 because it is always better late than never. And yes there are definitely some great shots in this set so make sure you check the full gallery on my Facebook page. I would greatly appreciate it. They are so choice.

Thank you all and I will be back soon. Let the music play on.
