It’s with great excitement that I’m writing this post. For several reasons, actually. First and foremost, on a personal level I was able to make it out to Cheers in Ft. Lauderdale this last Friday night to support some friends of mine and my favorite bands. I love going out to see live music, meeting new people and in general, having a great time. Secondly, and equally as important, I got to shoot live. Now, mind you, it’s been quite some time since I’ve shot live music. It hasn’t been easy for me to find the time lately although it is my favorite type of photography. This particular event though, I could not miss. (more…)

Two weeks ago, I stepped out to my tattoo shop to join in their 15 year celebration. Wow, 15 years already. Congratulations, Almost Famous, great peeps, amazing work and you keep us coming back. Today I had the pleasure of going on location for an ongoing video shoot. The artist had been looking for a snake to appear alongside with him in this particular video and he was pointed in my direction by a mutual friend. After all, I do have three beautiful boas. (more…)
I got to spend a little time at my local pool hall recently and for that I was thankful. You see, I love shooting pool and can remain on the table for hours on end. So much so, that I don’t really take many photographs while I’m there. Still, I never know when something is going to catch my eye, so I usually rest my camera on top of the rail. It doesn’t hurt to keep her handy. This particular day there was a few moments that caught my fancy and I was lucky enough to snap them when I could. I hope you enjoy them. (more…)
A couple of weeks back I was invited to sit in while a friend of ours and his new band were laying down some tracks for the upcoming EP of theirs. Now I was shooting more from a personal level, being that I was truthfully just enjoying hanging out. However, I did get a couple of shots that I wanted to share with you all. There are a couple from the recording session, as well as some from the downtime at the pool hall. I love shooting pool. I really do. It’s the kind of activity that I am perfectly content playing for hours on end either by myself or with a group of friends.
