Breathe Your Disguise – Hardwired

It’s been a while. That much I know. Life has a way of occupying your time. It doesn’t mean I haven’t been behind the lens. What it does mean is that prioritizing. I have a day job and while I am a photographer for hire, it is still my passion and I don’t rely on it to pay bills. The day job trumps so blogging my photos comes in a little later on that list of priorities.

Today though I am making time to catch up on your backlog and prepare for the gig with Hardwired at Revolution next weekend. They were taken with my trustworthy sidepiece, The Beast with my go-to lens the 24-70mm. That being said am catching up and sharing some of my favorite images taken the last time I covered them at Revolution Live. It’s all about moments and capturing them so here are my top 5 favorites. Yes, it’s a quick entry but you’re not here for the writing, you are here for the photos. You will find some more on my Facebook page and of course, you are welcome to have a look at them.

All of which are American dreams, Products of Rage

And on this particular night, the tribute to some amazing bands was in full effect. I’m back, and I’m incredibly excited to come to you tonight with part one of two of a night of tribute. That being said, let’s get to it.

From Back Bay

I was recently offered the opportunity to fly out to Boston for work and considering the possibilities I imagined at this event, I most certainly jumped at this chance.

Shot on iPhone, Crackerman at Revolution Live

First thing’s first, let me see how thankful I am to have had this night to put in my books. There’s a first time for everything and this night qualified as just that.

Vertigo to take you back

It is about that time. Yes, I already brought to you the beginning, now to bring it to a close. I am talking about Vertigo. With my last entry talking about the INXS tribute by the name of Original Sin, this is how the night played on. Closing this particular night was Vertigo, a U2 tribute band. Indeed it was a nostalgic night on many fronts and I had such a good time.

With Revolution Live being my second home in a sense, I decided to shoot a little differently this night. What can I say, my muse came to me. For me, it was a free-flowing night. No angle, no objective, I just went with the vibe around me and I have to say that it was quite good. I love those kinds of times. Those times are bringing you these images and nothing but vibe. Of course, you know that I am bringing to you my top ten images because that is my MO.

Let me know what you think and please feel free to check out the full set on my Facebook Page. I do so appreciate you.

Give it up for George Clinton & the P Funk

South Florida wanted the funk and George Clinton and the Parliament-Funkadelic obliged. When I heard that George Clinton was making a farewell tour and that he was going to be in attendance at One Nation Under a Groove, I simply had to be there.
