Sunrise, Sunset, Swimwear

Hello, hello, people of the page. Finally, some time to upload and share with you the second day of our photoshoot weekend. This particular shoot day took place in Delray Beach and wow, what a beautiful beach. The sand was soft, the water clear and the models, beautiful. I loved being out by the water watching the sun come up in all it’s beautiful glory. Then, to add to the bliss, I had the opportunity to get behind the lens and do what I love.  (more…)

Wynwood Meets Swimwear

Why, hello there everyone. Yes, I’m a cornball. It is what it is. I can’t help it. I’m excited to be bringing to you now the first of two posts I’ve been anxious to write and to share. As I mentioned in previous entries, I had the pleasure of assisting on a two day bikini photoshoot for Vicissitude Magazine based out of New York. Not only was I a bit nervous (I’d never shot fashion before), I was also giddy to be having the opportunity. (more…)

Beachside Morning

You’ll have to pardon my absence as of late. There has been quite a bit a lot going on in my life. That being said, I’ve been rather short on time for my day to day responsibilities and even less time possible behind the lens. I have been missing it greatly, though I have not had the capability to remedy it as of yet. (more…)

Rhythm and Fire

Hello readers. I wanted to take a moment to bring to you my latest set. This weekend I had the pleasure of going out to my first ever drum circle. The weather heading out there was a bit scary. There were some thunder storms and lightning and while I was okay with getting wet, I didn’t want to get risk my camera getting caught up in the weather. (more…)

Upstream

Getting together my favorite shots for this particular post was a bit difficult.  I was shooting at a rather slow aperture to compensate for the low light and there was a lot of great shots I couldn’t use on account of them being too blurry. I wish I could already afford to upgrade my camera. However, for now I will just have to make do with what I got. Realistically speaking I will more than likely not be upgrading for about another year. In the meanwhile, I will have more time honing my skills and practice, practice, practice. (more…)

Rising to the top

This weekend I had the pleasure of going to the premiere of Urban Rebel’s new video, Awake. Once again, Urban Rebel did not disappoint. In fact, they raised the bar all the more. As for this queen, she was smart enough to bring her camera along to capture some of that energy. You see, though I’m not  a professional photographer, I fancy myself UR’s personal photographer in a way and I am thankful for their appreciation of my photos. I love capturing their passion and the love they have for their art. I believe that is what truly shines through. I am also glad I can share it with you, readers. On that note I bring to you my favorite shots of evening. I present to you, Urban Rebel at the video premiere event for Awake.

First flight

Why hello there. I realize its been a few days since I’ve stopped by to share anything new with you. I have however been biding my time until now. The reason? I had waited for the arrival of my new lens. I am now the owner of a 17-55mm 2.8 Canon. Granted, it’s not an L lens and I will not be able to use it when I upgrade my Rebel in the future. However, being that the upgrade is a ways away both financially and in experience, I wanted to step up my walk around lens while at the same time gaining a bit more performance when I take in our local music scene.
