You could say I’ve been burning the candle at both ends this week. While work has been insane with preparing to move offices, upgrading computers and still keeping up with the flood of work that is my day to day, I’ve also been burning the midnight oil working on my photos from this last weekend at Fishoutawata at Tobacco Road here in downtown Miami.
While my main reason for going was to support my friends Urban Rebel, I was excited to finally get to hear some of the bands that were on the venue’s lineup. It turned out to be not only a great music festival, it was fun and full of amazing talent. I even loved that they had a Charlie Chaplin impersonator. As for my photos, not only did I enjoy taking them, they were a pleasure to edit as well. Granted, I’m still operating with a T4i Rebel so the shots are noisy despite my editing,l. I think they add to the photos in this particular instance.
If I had to pick favorites, the next couple of pictures would be it. Of course my camera still loves Urban Rebel as evidenced by these shots, though she fancied the vocalist of The Cornerstoners as well. I am also sharing Charlie because he’s Charlie after all and there’s a couple of a group named Pages and The Out of hand. I also enjoyed their set. I will say this and it is a random comment, however I left this show wanting dreads.
