Hello readers. I wanted to take a moment to bring to you my latest set. This weekend I had the pleasure of going out to my first ever drum circle. The weather heading out there was a bit scary. There were some thunder storms and lightning and while I was okay with getting wet, I didn’t want to get risk my camera getting caught up in the weather. Initially I left Artemis in the car and headed out to see what this drum circle was all about. As soon as I got there I was blown away. The full moon, the stormy breeze, the drum beat… It instantly put me in a trance. Then I saw the fire. It instantly regretted leaving my poor camera in the car. I watched the fire spinners and instantly became lost in the moment. The fluidity of their movements and the warmth from their flame was mesmerizing. The entire time I was envisioning the moment through my lens and I could not take it anymore. I ran back to the car hoping to get back to the circle before they wrapped up for the night. Mind you, this was my first time shooting out in the pitch of night with only the moon and the flame to light the night. These are my favorites from the evening.
