This queen has had a particularly busy weekend. I initially I had wanted to take a bit of time to myself and get some much-needed downtime, but anyone that knows me knows that it is particularly difficult for me when there is a set I need to finish. My backlog has been crazy and I have really been wanting to get it taken care of. So many wonderful images and moments, I just couldn’t keep away. That being said, I’m brining to you last month’s drum circle.
I know, I know, a whole month later. Yes, well, I have to tell you, I feel that they were worth the wait. This drum circle was of epic proportions. From what I could tell just about every spinner was out there and they were incredibly on point. I was in awe. The energy level was on high and the vibes were just flowing. I wish I could have stayed the entire night, however I had to wake up early the next morning to make it to my day job.
This particular set is a little on the different side. While I began shooting in my usual style, about midway through the night a had another photog grab my camera and adjust the settings. He handed it back to me saying “trust me”. Well, I did and I shot away making minor alterations here and there and let me tell you, I learned that night. I ‘m ever appreciative to this particular guy for teaching me. I always welcome knowledge. That being said, if he reads this, whoever he is, I thank you.
