Vladez at the Grill

Hello once again readers. I’m hoping all is well in your wonderful worlds. I’ve been quite the busy queen as of late. It’s like my muse is on overtime and I couldn’t be happier. This time around I’m bringing to you a little goodness from my personal life and my recent outing to Grove Bay Grill. It was a gorgeous Friday evening and I went not only to support my peeps Vladez, I grabbed some delicious grub to boot. A little something different with this set though….

Here’s the scoop. I shot this entirely with my 50mm prime. I didn’t plan it that way. I normally use this lens as my daily carry or my walkabout lens, so to speak. I do not take my shorty out to shoot live as I’m always unsure as to what kind of action I will see and where I am standing in respect to it. This particular  day though, I rushed out of the house in order to work my way through traffic and still make it on time and in that rush I completely forgot to bring my zoom lens. Initially I was a bit apprehensive about shooting live with a prime, though in hindsight, it was a perfect outing. The images were fantastic despite the obvious not so ideal backdrop. Nonetheless, I came away pleased with the shots. Let me know what you think.
