Well, well. I can finally say that I’m caught up on my backlog. I’ve been quite the busy one you could say. As for today’s entry…
I wanted to share this particular set with you for two reasons:
- I love these guys and fully support them so get used to it 😉
- The main reason for my post. We aren’t always going to be happy with shots we take and the why’s can vary.
Let me elaborate on the last one for you. I don’t know how many photogs will admit to being less than pleased with some aspect or another with their sets. I will though. This set of photos was taken during Vladez’ performance at Sunset Tavern. While I’ve gotten used to and often times love the moods with which certain venues light their bands, this particular was in a way, lacking the mood. It wasn’t just that it was dark. It just didn’t have much personality. Granted, I understand it’s a tavern and while they host local bands, hospitality is their focus. Still, as a photographer taking photos of a band in a small venue, it was a bit of a challenge. I do what I do though and worked what magic I could. The shots were a bit of work on the post-production side, though I worked it and here they are. Well, my favorite shots anyways. Enjoy and again, thank you for your time.
