Warming up with Jasmin Cain

I haven’t been editing my eyeballs off, not at all. What can I say, I’ve been shutter happy for quite some time now and I am certainly not complaining.

That brings me to this quick little set. Just when you thought I was done with the Toy Run weekend, I am bringing in one last and final set. You see, while waiting for Soulicide’s slot, I took advantage and snapped a few shots here and there of Jasmin Cain and her band. To be honest I had never heard of her before that day however I dug her set. I also enjoyed how she was loving the whole experience, even stage diving in to the crowd. Of course, they ate it up.

Taking a page from her website, “Her performances are stadium-quality rock shows to audiences of 1,000-5,000 on average. Jasmine Cain encompasses what a true artist is meant to be, taking the reins as the songwriter, lead vocalist, and bassist for her band. Her songs are emotional, raw, and timeless. Her voice is a mixture of strong, aggressive, soul-filled attitude, while allowing you to feel a slight vulnerability that takes you on an emotional, super-charged ride. You can hear your own life story in every raspy note.”

I know I enjoyed it and picked a few favorites shots to share with you today. As per usual, the full set will be on my Facebook page.  Let me know what you think.
