Practice on two counts

A little while ago, I had the opportunity to take the Beast out for his first live music experience and yes, we crashed a Sunny South practice at Zombie Pop Studios.

If you follow my blog and have read some of my previous entries, you may have come across my mentioning a group by the name of Sunny South. If not, what are you waiting for? Just kidding, you can always visit their Facebook page and check them out. In the meanwhile, I’ll give you a run down. They are a great group of musicians that play a little Blues, a  little Progressive Rock and they are a blast to be around. Count me lucky for being able to get in their faces getting a feel for the new camera while they practice some new tunes they are working on.

It was a such a great time not just trying out the new wings but jamming out to some great mashups and originals. Not to mention the wonderful company on top of it all. Mushy set aside though, I was incredibly pleased with how the Beast performed. The images this monster is able to capture leaves me excited for any and all my upcoming ventures and adventures. I am ever so grateful for the blessing of being able to call him my own. Really, I couldn’t be more happy and pleased.

As for the details on this set, there’s no time like the present. I love the colors and lighting in this studio. Have I mentioned my love for studio gear, too? Yeah, that. I swear I’m some kind of music nerd when it comes to that but I digress. Here are my favorites. I tried to keep the edits clean and popping color wise save for a few images that I was just digging on a different vibe. I picked my favorites for this set of course, though you can always check out the full set on my Facebook page
