Last weekend I had the pleasure of spending some time with a band by the name of the The Von. They reached out to me wanting a few promo shots and I was happy to oblige. They wanted a bit of sunrise action and so we had chosen Delray Beach to begin.
Sunrise. What a great way to start my day once more. Camera in hand and a group of cool people welcoming the morning at a beautiful beach. The insanely early predawn wakeup would have been nice to skip, however how else would you make it to your destination in order to set up and bring in the sunrise doing what you love? No rewards come without a bit of work. Yes, that meant waking up insanely early for me though I did not mind whatsoever. Not everyone gets to see another sunrise.
As for the shoot, we began in the predawn moments just as the light was breaking over the horizon until just about 11 a.m. Beginning with some beach shots and then taking a walkabout the area stopping at a few spots that caught my eye along the way. I wanted a few different backgrounds for them. You see, they don’t match. I’m not talking about clothes or styles of dress. I’m speaking of personalities. They are all absolutely individual yet they blend well together and so I wanted to find spots to fit each one of them.
They were so much fun and quite entertaining. And the best part for me was, we ended in a cute little coffee shop and I finally had my caffeine fix. Yes, I did this all sans caffeine. Not to shabby I would say. So here they are, my favorites of the morning. I chose a few out of each location to share with you, though I did upload just a few more on my Facebook page should you feel inclined to check them out. I decided to thrown in some of the fun stuff we shot there and not just the promo work.
