Come one, come all. It’s a show unlike you’ve ever seen before…
I definitely am excited to be posting this entry today. Not only did I meet my self-imposed deadline despite an insane amount of 9-5 work, this set is one that I’m particularly fond of. So much so that this one time I am absolutely encouraging you to check out the full album on my Facebook Page. Well, after you read this quick little blurb of mine. So let’s get to this; yes?
For starters, I love me some Hellzapoppin. They are an amazing performance troupe that originated in Dallas Texas. Now they are touring the world and I was not missing them performing at one of my all-time favorite venues to photograph, The Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale. The lighting alone there excites me and when you add to it an amazing show full of insanely talented individuals performing all sorts of unique feats that leave one amazed to say the least.
I’ve seen them before about a year ago at Kelsey Theater and I initially thought the performance would consist of basically the same thing. Well, I was wrong. I mean how many times can one say that they were witness to things such as sword and drill swallowing, hanging cowbells and bowling balls from hooks placed within an eye socket, the list goes on. This night was amazing. Being close to the action made it that much more incredible. But I’m going to let my top 20 show you just a glimpse of what I was witness to.
