Let us start this next series of four with a little treat, shall we?
Last weekend was a rather busy one for this Queen. I had the privilege of covering two nights at Revolution Live. While that meant shooting 4 bands in two nights, it also mean quite a few hours of post work. Thankfully I shot clean and it allowed for a quicker turn around time for me.
This particular set, the first of four bands was a pleasant surprise for me. Opening up for the tribute band that evening was, Spider Cherry. They were so much fun. They describe themselves as “A musical carnival that will please all the senses.” and let me tell you that is an accurate description. I was thoroughly entertained. The lead vocalist is insanely charismatic and their set list was a joy to my ears.
I was really enjoying their sound and they’re way of mashing up songs and was quite sad when the set ended. It went a little too quickly for me however I love the photos that turned out from it. I took the liberty of adding a little mood to them because you all know how much I love moody tones. Again, I tend to get lost behind my lens and it’s almost like the Beast has a mind of his own sometimes. But, let’s not make this post longer than it needs to be.
