With gigs being postponed, rescheduled or otherwise canceled on account of the virus outbreak, I have certainly been making use of this “social distancing” time at home to catch up and not to mention, take it easy. It’s difficult sometimes to catch a breath between the moments yet one must always try to see positive in the situations when they can.
With that idea, I thought I would bring to you a quick little set and the next in line in my queue. I am bringing to you Audio Echo, A Chris Cornell tribute that was one of the supporting acts for In The End. Yes, I will most certainly be bringing to you that collection as well however the first thing is first.
It’s a small set and if I must say it’s a little on the dark side for me however I took advantage of it and worked a bit with the creativity to make up for the lighting. I did say one should try to look for the positive aspects of things; correct? There are of course a few more on my Facebook page but I am bringing to you my top favorites so that you can have a quick idea.
My favorite part of this particular band’s set was towards the end. They had Chris Hodges of In The End get on stage to help cover one of my favorite jams, Hunger Strike. Of course, it wasn’t Eddie Vedder on stage.
And sadly, with both Chester and Chris on the other side, it was still great to hear this track. Let me know what you think.
